"Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction." (Qur’an 4:82). I think there might be an opportunity here for an adventurous Imam to accomplish significant reform in Islam, at least as it relates to slaughtering Christians and Jews.

And so "Kill them wherever you find them" - Qur'an 2:191 "Kill them wherever you find them" - Qur'an 4:89 "Kill them wherever you find them" - Qur'an 4:91 "Kill the idolaters wherever you find them" - Qur'an 9:5 "When you meet the unbelievers, strike necks" - Qur'an 47:4 - must not be talking about people of the book or compulsion in religion, since there can be no contradiction in Quran.

It must be an interpretive oversight that makes jihadists such savage warlords, right? Perhaps it can be remedied?
